On October 3rd, we organized a lunch gathering at the LSQ Rooftop in London, bringing together prominent entrepreneurs, investors, operators and other alumni. We connected on how to empower the founders with both funding as well as support.

Frans van Houten, one of Graduate’s co-founders, kicked off the event with inspiring opening remarks about Graduate, followed by a reflection on our incredible journey from Auke van den Hout, our managing partner. In just three short years, Graduate Entrepreneur has backed 50 promising startups! —An achievement that highlights the power of our alumni community.

The afternoon was marked by inspiring pitches from three Graduate Entrepreneur founders:  

• Parya Lotfi, founder of DuckDuckGoose, shared her vision on safeguarding organizations against potential threats through AI deepfake detection software.  

• Peter Paul van Voorst tot Voorst, Founder of Skoon Energy, showcased how his company is pioneering sustainable energy storage, driving the green energy transition across Europe

• Emma Wolthuizen, founder of Eddy Energy, presented her work in revolutionizing energy management in residential settings, optimizing the way we consume energy in our day to day lives.
