The startup is a spin-off of Wilton Heat Transfer Services and was founded by Niels (CEO), Roy (R&D), and Pim (CBO), who were formerly employed in different capacities at Wilton. Niels Bergsma initiated the Hexwise concept, later joined by Roy Manting for development and data/vibration analysis. Pim van Ramhorst, with a strong business background, completed the team. Hexwise emerged from the realization that numerous heat exchanger users faced challenges with maintenance and operation. The founders, supported by Wilton's management as shareholders and advisors, decided to establish a separate startup dedicated to addressing this issue. By leveraging their expertise, Hexwise aims to optimize heat exchanger usage, leading to reduced emissions, energy consumption, and operational costs, while boosting production revenue for industries worldwide.
